Tailgates, backyard football, you name it and this ball will be there. But hey, if you and your friends are straight up athletes, then the Duke is perfect for you. It's just not a fun ball to play backyard football with. Why should we use a ball designed for freak athletes when our friends are the size of a junior varsity quarterback? My friend's don't have Megatron hands, we don't have an Aaron Rodgers arm, this ball is too much for us! It's a great ball to have an NFL player sign after training camp. People like you and me weren't built for the league. I have to be honest, the NFL Wilson might be the most overrated football ever. As the kids say these days, this ball gives me 'bad vibes' even though there's nothing wrong with it. This did not only make my job harder, but it also made me want to launch a Vapor Brown in between their eyes. The only time I'd see this ball being tossed around was when I worked at Dicks Sporting Goods and 4-5 kids would walk in and go straight to the football pile to pick one of these up and start creating chaos. I think it's as good as an NCAA ball but I rarely knew anyone who owned this ball. I always thought the Nike Vapor Brown was underappreciated.

So, that's about it, play it to get a serious game, but one that doesn't mind going into cute characters from long gone TV series. The graphics are really cure, but the gameplay is unaffected by the way in which the cartoonish characters look or move around, which is always something to salute and be happy about. Therefore, in all of its elements, Backyard Football 2002 is the game to play. Plus, just like in the Sensible Soccer franchise, the game manages to be just expert at taking the nonessential elements away, sticking only with what is important to the game. That is so because it manages to create a very satisfying representation of the game, both of its real time portion as well as of the back strategy behind the action sequences. This game is a sweet, sweet representation of American football staring cartoonish characters, but in spite of this graphical presentation, the game is nonetheless a joy to sink into.
